... is a cycle of 7 solo piano pieces, with a total length of around 20 minutes. The pieces play with the combination of composed and improvised parts.
The improvisations have a given framework through specific musical building blocks, graphic notation or verbal instructions, which gives the performers clues for spontaneous creation during performance.
The pieces in the cycle can either be played one after another, with the performers determining the order of the pieces themselves, or can be heard individually in a concert program, alternating with other compositions.
The players are invited to make decisions about the order and placement of the pieces before each performance or spontaneously during the course of the concert.
